MES Families,
This afternoon, our fire alarms were unexpectedly triggered. All students and staff followed safety procedures and evacuated the building quickly and safely.
After a full evaluation of the campus, we are happy to report that there was no fire and everyone is safe. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Mart Volunteer Fire Department for their quick action and timely response.
Thank you for your continued support.

💙 Reminder: Wear Blue Tomorrow! 💙
April is Autism Awareness Month, and this week at Mart Elementary, we are focusing on inclusion—making sure every student feels welcome, valued, and supported.
A small act of kindness can make a big difference, and together we can create a school where everyone truly belongs!
This Friday, we encourage all students to wear blue in support of Autism Acceptance. 💙 We will also be recognizing students who have been intentionally inclusive and kind to others with special awards chosen by their teachers.
Let’s show our support and continue spreading kindness throughout our campus! 💙

We want to emphasize the importance of students staying at school for the entire day whenever possible. We understand that circumstances, such as doctors’ appointments or family emergencies, may require an early pickup. However, even missing a small portion of the day can result in lost instruction that is difficult to make up.
With STAAR and end-of-year testing quickly approaching, every minute of learning truly counts. Staying the entire day helps ensure students are fully prepared and confident.
If your child is absent due to illness or a medical appointment, please return all doctor’s notes so absences can be properly excused.
Thank you for your support in helping your child succeed!
