Please support the 7th grade class and your favorite softball and baseball team and player by ordering your gear for game days. You can find something for the cold weather games in February and March or the games played on those hot summer Texas nights!

Shepherd's Heart is considering putting in a permanent food bank in Mart. This Friday they will have a mobile distribution from 2pm-4pm in front of the high school. The bigger the turn out, the more evidence that we need a permanent site in our community. Please spread the word. Boxes will be first come, first served. You are allowed to take boxes to those who cannot travel.

The district has received questions regarding the upcoming School Board Trustee Election. Information on qualifications to run for office and the application link can be found here: https://www.martisd.org/page/school-boards-trustees. The last day to apply for a place on the ballot is next Friday, February 16th, at 4pm.
Mart ISD would like to congratulate Marisela Blood and Richard Green on National Signing Day. Richard Green signed his letter of intent with UMHB to play football, and Marisela Blood signed her letter of intent with Ranger College to play softball. We are so proud of these student athletes for all their hard work and dedication!
It's National School Counseling Week and Mart High School is celebrating Mrs. Funk and all the amazing things she does for our students!

National Signing Day will now recognize 2 outstanding Mart High School athletes - Mari Blood committing to Ranger College and Richard Green committing to UMHB. Everyone is invited to come out Wednesday at 2pm to the MHS gym to celebrate with these students.

February 12-16 is Kindness Week at MHS! The purpose of Kindness Week is to recognize that simple day-to-day acts of kindness enable our schools, communities, and state to be a kinder, safer, healthier, and more inclusive place to live, work, learn, and play. We have several activities in store to make Mart High School a kinder place.
Please make plans to join us next Wednesday, February 7th, at 2pm for Mari Blood's signing. The event will be held in the MHS gym. All visitors need to check in with the front high school office.
