Mart ISD would like to welcome Dr. Nancy Dominguez to our #PANTHERFamily. Dr. Dominguez will be the new assistant principal at the High School. Biography: Greetings! My name is Dr. Nancy Dominguez, and I am the assistant principal at Mart High School this school year! 2023-2024 marks the beginning of my 17thyear in education, and I am excited to be a Mart Panther! I graduated with my bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2008 and my master’s degree from Tarleton State University in 2011. Most recently, I graduated with my doctorate degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Tarleton State University. I am certified bilingual with the ability to effectively communicate in English and Spanish. I thoroughly enjoy working with various stakeholders in order to help all students reach their full potential. On a personal note, I have been married to an amazing husband, Justin, for over a decade. Together, we have been blessed with two sweet and energetic young men, Aaron, who is an active and athletic 11-year-old, and Andrew, who is a courageous five-year-old. My Why: The primary reason I became an educator is to support all students, especially those students who are unable to self-advocate. My hope is for all of our students to be educated and productive members of society. I firmly believe in the power of education and know firsthand how positively impactful receiving a solid education can be. As Brian Tracy said, “It doesn’t matter where you are coming from. All that matters is where you are going.” Let’s go, Panthers!
