It was Marisela Blood Day at MHS today! Representatives from Mike Terry Ford of Mexia visited campus this morning to award Mari with her Greater Texas Ford Dealers 2A Female Athlete of the Month for November trophy. Congratulations to MHS students Saydi Durbin, Jackson Sheffield and Macaria Brown. These three individuals were chosen to join other McLennan County students as part of the Teen Leadership Waco program. This is a competitive application process that chooses only 25 students from county school districts to participate. The students will attend 8 workshops designed and orchestrated by the Waco Chamber of Commerce. Teen Leadership Waco builds on the leadership skills of today's youth to help develop them into future leaders throughout the Greater Waco community.
