Mart ISD staff volunteered to assist with the Shepherd's Heart food distribution Tuesday afternoon. This distribution takes place the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 3pm-4pm at the Mart Community Center. #PANTHERFamily

The State Board of Nursing has clarified that nurses in any setting are restricted from administering medications without provider orders.
A parent permission note is not sufficient per the Texas State Board of Nursing to allow school nurses to administer medication to a student at school (prescription or over-the-counter medications).
Beginning this year, all medication that is administered at school must have a doctor's note. This includes over the counter medicines such as Ibuprofen or Tylenol. Parents can still bring medicine to their child when needed, but Mart ISD staff can no longer administer these medications without a doctor's order.

Hello ! My name is Melissa Beard I'm from Axtell. I have worked as a custodian for over 18 years .I've been married for 26years . My husband and I moved away 6 years ago ,and we just moved back so we can be closer to our grandkids ,Payten and Ryker .I love being a Lollie to these two kiddos . In my spare time I like to fish ,spend time with my husband Albert and hangout with the family, go camping, playing with the grandkids and I love spending time at the beach in Corpus Christi . Proud to be a part of the Mart family.

Hello Panthers my name is Erin Banda. I've lived in the Mart area for the past couple of years. I have a sister who is a junior at Mart High School and I’m very excited to be starting my new chapter at Mart High School. I've always worked in the medical field so this is a new adventure for me. Hello, my name is Clara Monroe. I am extremely excited to begin my career at Mart ISD. My husband and I are both Mart alumni and our four daughters (Natalie, Kendall, Sunnie, and Willow) are following in our footsteps. I currently have an Associates degree in teaching and I am finishing up my bachelors degree at Texas A&M University this year. When you don’t see me at the school, I enjoy spending my free time traveling with my family. I look forward to seeing all of these great kiddos and having an amazing school year! Mrs. Monroe will serve as a paraprofessional at Mart Elementary.

MHS Parents and Student Drivers, the flow of traffic has changed at Mart High School. Beginning the first day of school, the road in front of the administration building will be for ENTRANCE only. Parents and student drivers will then proceed to the back of the building, pull directly in front of the gym doors for drop off or student parking, and then proceed on the football field side of the building for EXIT only. Please follow the diagram below. Thank you.
Thursday, August 8th, there will be a food distribution at the Church of Christ from 2:00pm-4:00pm. Please bring your own container.

Registration for the 2024-2025 school year is now open. All parents of existing Mart ISD students should log in to their Family Access portal and complete the registration tile. New students to the district should follow the new student enrollment link found on the school website. Once enrollment is accepted, new students will be able to register. See you soon!
