Just a reminder of Mart HS student drop off and pick up procedures. There will be no entry allowed from the football/gym side entrance, this is now a bus entrance/exit only, no matter the time of day. Thank you to all our parents and student drivers who are looping all the way around the back parking lot before dropping off and picking up, this has been determined to be the best route when taking student safety into consideration . We still have parents trying to cut through the parking lot and not make the full loop around when dropping off in the mornings. This disrupts the flow of traffic and puts our students safety at risk. Please use the map from our district website and Facebook page if you are unsure of the new procedures. Thank you.
Hey Panther Fans, all home athletic events will continue to be streamed live through NFHS network. This includes all football games! If you can’t be there in person make sure to tune in at https://www.nfhsnetwork.com and watch your favorite athletes!

Reminder: AG Boosters and FFA will have a meeting on August 29th at 6:00 in Mr. Doughty's room at the HS. They will be voting on officers, and hopefully welcoming lots of new members! Congratulations to MHS XC teams! Both the boys and girls placed 2nd today at the Mud Sweat and Cheers Relay!
In an effort to create the safest environment possible for our students, beginning Monday, August 22, Mart High School will change the student drop off/pick up line. All High School student drivers and parent drop offs/pick ups will enter and exit on the Ag side of the building. Now that the back parking lot is paved, there is plenty of space to circle around and not interfere with bus traffic or walkers exiting the building. Thank you for your patience while we work to ensure the safety of everyone at Mart ISD.

Just a reminder that if you drop off or pick up your child from Mart High School, the flow of traffic has changed. All cars must enter on the gym side and exit on the Ag side of the main building. Parents are not allowed to park in the parking spots and wait for their child. You must be in the pick up line in order for your child to leave with you. We have vehicles trying to exit on the gym side in the afternoons while our buses are trying to leave. We are making these changes for the safety of our students. Thank you for your cooperation.
Tonight’s scrimmage is canceled. Please be safe traveling home.
Scrimmage update: if weather/lightning clears we plan on starting at around 7:30. If it doesn’t get better in the next ten minutes then we’ll have to call it off.
The football scrimmage tonight vs Bosqueville is currently delayed due to lightning. If you arrive at the facilities please stay in your car and away from the bleachers. We will keep you updated.
Next Friday, August 26th, Mart ISD will release at 2pm in order to allow fans to travel to Paris, TX to watch the first varsity football game of the season. Elementary car line will begin dismissing at 1:50pm and the high school dismissal bell will ring at 2pm. Buses will depart at approximately 2pm on their routes. If you have any questions please let contact your child's campus office. Thank you.
Tomorrow's (Thurs. 8/18) Scrimmage vs Bosqueville will begin at 6:30pm in Mart.
Due to low numbers in the Bosqueville program, a format will be used that alternates JV & Varsity.
Happy First Day of School! ES Parking Lot Update: The portion we need is not still under construction so we will be able to loop through the visitor's parking lot like in year's past for car pick up this afternoon. Cones will be there to help guide the lines. High school is reversing it's flow of traffic after seeing some hiccups this morning. All cars (student and parents) should enter on the gym side and exit on the ag building side (opposite of this morning).
We had a great turnout at Meet the Teacher!. Thank you to Enel for providing Kona Ice for our students. Please note the reminders on dress code in the picture attached. School starts at 7:45 tomorrow at ES and 7:50 at HS. We can't wait to see you tomorrow! #PANTHERFamily
Parking Lot update: All parking lots will be completed and open on Monday, August 22nd (except for striping). Most of the visitor's lot will be open by the first day of school on Wednesday (see attached picture, area in red closed through Sunday). Tonight the entire visitor's lot will still be off limits.
