Due to unsafe road conditions, the basketball games scheduled for tonight vs Axtell have been rescheduled for tomorrow, 2/5. Only varsity games will be played with Varsity Boys playing at 3pm and Varsity Girls to follow. Both games will be played at the Mart High School gym.
Mart ISD will remain closed tomorrow, Friday, February 4th, due to continued winter weather. We will resume school on Monday. At this time evening basketball games will still be played as scheduled beginning at 5pm.

Due to predictions of inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, Mart ISD will not have school on Thursday, February 3.

There will be a vaccine clinic at the high school cafeteria next Wednesday, February 9th, from 4-7. Pfizer vaccinations for children ages 5-11 are available as well as initial doses and boosters.
Basketball games this week:
Tonight, 3 games at the high school gym vs Wortham (JVB,VG,VB) beginning at 5pm.
Friday, 4 games with JV Boys playing at the ES gym at 5 and JV Girls playing at the HS gym at 5 followed by Varsity girls and boys.
The Class of 2022 is hosting a Valentine's dinner & dance for 6th-8th grade Mart students. It will be at the high school cafeteria on February 12th from 6-10 pm. Dinner will include two spaghetti options. Tickets are $10 each and will be sold the week of the dance. We will also have concessions available at an additional cost. I am sorry for any confusion or inconvenience we have caused during dismissal this week, however there are some changes being made. For the remainder of the week, students in the car line will be dismissed at 3:35 and buses will continue to run at their normal times. Starting on Monday, January 31st, MES will officially change their start and dismissal times to: 7:50-3:30. All students who arrive after 8:00 will be considered tardy. Due to COVID-19 in Wortham, Basketball has now been postponed to Wednesday, January 19th. Panther and Lady Panther basketball will play @ Wortham beginning at 5pm. Powerlifting is still planned for Saturday.
All athletic events will continue to take place as scheduled. Lady Panther & Panther Basketball will play tomorrow in Wortham beginning at 5pm. Powerlifting will still go to Bosqueville on Saturday. The Ag Booster Chili Supper fundraiser will still be held Saturday evening at the elementary cafeteria.
Due to COVID-19 among staff and students, Mart ISD will not have classes tomorrow, Jan 14th. We will return on Tues, January 18th. This missed day will not be made up due to flexibility in our district calendar. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause our families.
