Governor Abbott announced a 30-day special session beginning October 9 to provide private school subsidies, also known as vouchers or education savings accounts. Public schools are underfunded by billions, and any available funding should be prioritized for teacher raises and to help schools pay the bills. We'll continue sharing updates to keep you informed as the session progresses.

Smith Family Photography will return to Mart ISD campuses on Thursday, October 12th to photograph the students who were missing on the original photo day and retake photos as requested by parents.
IF YOUR CHILD WAS ABSENT…
If your child was absent, there is no need to do anything. Make sure they dress nice because these photos will be used in the yearbook!
IF YOUR CHILD NEEDS A RETAKE…
If your child needs a retake, you must inform Smith Family Photography in advance so the necessary paperwork can be done ahead of time. There is a $5 deposit which will be applied to your order.

Mart Elementary would like to recognize the 5th and 6th grade students prior to the Varsity football game against Frost on Friday, October 6th. All 5th and 6th grade students are invited to cheer on the Panthers and run through the Panther Tunnel prior to the game.
Students wishing to participate in this recognition should report to the North end (weight room) of Panther Stadium at 6:30 p.m. Friday night and will gain free admittance to the game by presenting the ticket given to them by their teacher and entering through the home side gate. Parents and other guests will be charged the normal game admission.

MES Parents,
We will have a pep rally on Friday. The pep rally will begin at 3:05 and end at 3:30. If you would like to pick up your student prior to the pep rally, please fill out the form using the link below or scan the QR code. Students signed up, will dismiss at 2:30 from the car line. All other students will travel to the pep rally and dismiss as normal. Students WILL NOT BE released to parents or family members once they have arrived at the pep rally. They will be dismissed following normal pick-up procedures. Bus riders will leave from the HS and car riders will be bused back to the ES for car line dismissal at 3:30. Anyone who is traveling to Franklin on Thursday for the MS Purple game will need to purchase tickets online. https://events.ticketspicket.com/agency/cca7f332-2603-45c8-b645-e65dfd1fcabc Ticket sales will open at 8am the day of the event. Only clear bags are allowed in the stadium.
