Congratulations to Senior Thomas "Trey" Kalka for being selected as a top 5 finalist for the Youth Citizenship Awards presented by Waco Rotary Club and Waco Tribune Herald. Trey was awarded a $2,000 scholarship at the 43rd annual scholarship luncheon held on Tuesday. Trey stood out among 22 other students nominated in the area for exhibiting "Service Above Self". He was recognized for his work as class president, athlete, and his work in coordinating a shelf-restocking effort at Read's Food Store during COVID-19.
